It is a daunting and arduous task, typically made more difficult by a general lack of understanding. In previous courses we have addressed hazard identification, risk, and hazard control basics. In this course I will provide you with the tools and knowledge you require to complete the hazard assessment process.

This course has been developed to provide awareness training to individuals responsible for conducting workplace safety inspections. The course has a strong focus on Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Codes, however is applicable to workers in all provinces.

Upon completion of the course, students will:

This course is designed to familiarize workers with industry-standard personal protective equipment. The curriculum was specifically developed to address COR/SECOR audit requirements. The course focus is on:

  • Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Legislation

  • Selection of Appropriate PPE

WHMIS
